Email Forwarding (Updated)
Users can make use of Jack's email forwarding function to get documents to Jack for extraction.
One of the methods for getting documents to Jack for extraction is the email forwarding service. Each client will have a unique email address which documents can be sent to.
Accepted Document Types:
Jack currently only accepts emails with Pdf, PnG and JPG/jpg/JPEG attachments.
The email address provided will be in the following format based on the company or client name:
documents+abc-limited@jenesys.email
Update on 6th March 2025: Please note that the domain of the email forwarding address changed from @jenesys.co to @jenesys.email so please update accordingly.
and this can be found by navigating to:
- Settings
- Team
Sharing this email address with a Company User, an employee of the client, will enable them to send documents straight into Jack for extraction.
If any member of the Practice team also wants to share documents for Jack to extract, they too can send to the same email address and Jack will pick them up and assign to the relevant client.
For suppliers or client employees who are not listed as a team member on Jack, they too can send in documents for extraction, but will need to be marked as a Safe Sender.
This is quite a simple process and can be done by visiting the Teams Page again and scrolling down to the section below.
If a non-team member has attempted to email a document in for extraction then their name will appear here. You'll also receive notification via email to mark them as safe or block them in case this is spam.
Once you mark them as safe, they will receive an email asking them to reforward the email containing the document for Jack to extract. Any future emails they send will now be picked up by Jack and extracted.
Safe senders can also be added manually by clicking Add User and completing the required details.
or by adding a CSV file which is populated with names and email addresses
We created our own CSV file format for you to use to create this safe sender list😀
